Neon Drift League

Neon Drift League nails the one thing an arcade racer has to get right: drifting feels amazing. Ease off the gas into a corner, tap the brake, and the car swings out in a long glowing arc that you can hold for ages if you read the track well. The neon city backdrops are pure eye candy and the sense of speed is genuinely thrilling.

The tilt and touch control options both work, though I settled on tap-to-steer after a while. Progression is handled through short cups rather than a bloated career mode, which suits phone play. Cars unlock at a fair pace and each one handles distinctly enough to matter.
